SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Every manga-style piece is printed or stitched after you order it, by one of our print partners. No warehouse of unsold stock, less waste.
01 // WHERE YOUR ORDER IS MADE
MADE IN THREE PLACES.
- Softstyle Tees and Crewneck Sweatshirts: printed and shipped from the UK.
- Heavyweight Box Tees: printed and shipped from Halle (Saale), Germany.
- Letterman Jackets: made and shipped from the USA.
- Flat Bill Caps and SPORE Beanies: embroidered and shipped from the USA.
If your order mixes pieces from different places, they'll arrive in separate parcels from different countries, on different days, each with its own tracking. Shipping for the whole order is shown at checkout.
02 // HOW LONG IT TAKES
MADE FOR YOU, THEN SENT.
Making it: most pieces are made within 1 to 3 working days. Busy periods can push this to 7.
- UK-made (Softstyle Tees, Crewnecks) to the UK: usually 2 to 5 working days after dispatch.
- Germany-made (Box Tees) to the UK: usually 5 to 15 working days. To the EU: usually 3 to 8.
- USA-made (Letterman Jackets, Caps, Beanies) to the UK and EU: usually 10 to 30 working days. These take the longest, so order early if it's a gift.
These are estimates, not guarantees. Busy periods and courier delays can add a few days.
03 // SHIPPING COST
REAL RATES. NO MARKUP.
Shipping is calculated at checkout, based on your items and where they're going. Each maker's real rate is passed on, with no flat fee and no markup. The exact cost shows at checkout before you pay.
04 // CUSTOMS, DUTY & VAT
NO NASTY SURPRISES.
Box Tees (from Germany) and Letterman Jackets, Caps and Beanies (from the USA) cross a border to reach the UK. Our print partner pays UK import VAT before the parcel leaves on orders up to £135 in goods value, so there should be nothing extra to pay on delivery.
On larger orders (over £135 in goods value from outside the UK), the courier may ask you for import VAT, customs duty or a handling fee before they hand the parcel over. These charges are set by HMRC and the courier, not by us. If that happens, email us first and we'll help.
UK-made Softstyle Tees and Crewnecks have no customs charges for UK customers.
Ordering from outside the UK? Your country's own import rules apply, and any local duties or taxes are paid by the recipient.
05 // TRACKING
WATCH IT CRAWL TO YOU.
We'll email your tracking link as soon as each parcel ships. Some services track the whole journey, some only part of it, and tracking can take a day or two to update.
06 // LATE, LOST OR DAMAGED
WE'LL PUT IT RIGHT.
If your order is taking longer than the estimate, or arrives damaged or misprinted, email hello@deathcapcult.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number (and photos if something's wrong). We'll chase it and put it right. We reply within 5 working days at most. Full details are on our Store Policies page.
Changed your mind? Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you can cancel and return unworn items within 14 days of delivery. Return postage is paid by the customer. Email us first and we'll send you the return details.
